March 2018 Trip to Nigeria – Day 2

As Jim was preparing for this trip, God spoke a clear word that this visit was to be about strengthening relationships and encouraging the saints in Nigeria. We believe it will be through these strong bonds founded in Christ, His purposes will be accomplished and the nation transformed.

His first report from Port Harcourt stated he is witnessing a confirmation of this word. “The idea of keeping this trip relational was so right on time. These saints really needed someone to just validate them. Amazing what a few encouraging words from God can do.” Based on the smiles in the photos and the beautiful words spoken in the videos, God is using Jim’s encouraging words to build up the saints. GTG!

A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.

Proverbs 25: 11 (NIV)

And let us consider how we may spur one another on

toward love and good deeds.

Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)

God is doing a mighty work in Nigeria and GTGIM is so grateful He is allowing us to be part of it. Over the next few days, we will be sharing some of the exciting things He is doing in Port Harcourt, so please continue to join us on this journey.

If you have any encouraging words for Jim or the saints in Nigeria, please let us know, and we will pass them on.

Love to all who are supporting Jim, Susan, and both the US & Nigerian GTG teams in prayer.
